Susan leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Susan’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Susan will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Scott Lavendar and Betty Ruth Sheets Lavendar; and her nephew Jason Lavendar. She is survived by: her husband Michael England; her siblings, Ann Geiry (Mike) and Gary Lavendar; her nieces, Angie Lavendar (Tammy) and Courtney Smith (Chris); and her nephew Matt Lavendar. She is also survived by extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial gifts be made to Hart County Botanical Garden, 1277 Elberton Hwy, Hartwell, GA 30643, honoring Susan's lifelong love of plants, flowers, and the natural world.
