He was predeceased by: his parents, John Douglas and Callie Mae Mobley Watson; and his half-brother Guy Plowden. He is survived by: his wife Dora Cobb Watson of Hawkinsville; his daughter Rene Watson Howard (John) of Roswell; and his grandsons, J. D. Howard and Justin Howard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
