He was predeceased by : his parents, George Carroll and Rheba Scarbrough Carroll; and his grandson Benjamin Phyllip Floyd. He is survived by : his wife Phyllis Proffitt; his daughters, Shannon Easterling (Guy) and Angi Floyd (Jamie); his pet Sassy Frass Carroll; his granddaughter Samantha Morgan (Dustin); and his great grandchild Charlie Marie Howell.
