He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Carroll and Etha Mizell Carroll. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Carroll; his children, Michael Carroll (Michele), Greg Carroll (Veronda) and Lisa Garland; his stepchildren, Cathy Liggett (Fred), Mary Ann Gregory (Kenneth) and Jimmy Courson (Rita); and his siblings, Irvin Carroll, Douglas Carroll, Jeanette Blum and Faye Gartin. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
