With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jamil Phillips (Hawkinsville, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 9. Though Jamil may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jamil touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He is survived by: his parents, Katina Releford of Jacksonville Florida and Gachovian Phillips of Hawkinsville Georgia; his sisters, Katina Ball and Jania Simpson of Jacksonville Florida; his grandparents, Keith Releford of Hawkinsville, GA and Joyce Phillips of Hawkinsville, GA; and his great-grandparents, Flora Griffin of Hawkinsville, GA and Winnie L.
