It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Ann Johnson Barron of Hawkinsville, Georgia, born in Pulaski, Georgia, who passed away on November 14, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Ruby Ann leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Johnson and Ruby Black Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Rufus Butler Barron of Hawkinsville; and her son Brian Barron (Judy) of Hawkinsville.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brannen NeSmith Funeral Home (1121 Borum St, Unadilla, GA 31091).
