With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Edwin Shelton of Hawkinsville, Georgia, born in Pulaski, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 29, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Shelton; his parents, Ivan Shelton and Lois Lucus; his siblings, Mildred Darsey, Lillian Synder, Madge Coley, Lucille Youngblood and Archie Shelton; and his grandson Andrew Graff.
He is survived by: his daughter Robin Graff (Bill Spies) of Ohio; his grandchildren, Christian Graff, Elizabeth Graff (John McGinnis), Mitchell Graff (Gabie), Victoria Graff Valentine (Nathan) and Benjamin Graff; his great grandchild Levi Valentine; his sister Edith Castleberry; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Graham and Louise Shelton.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Hart Family Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be made to Broad Street Baptist Church, 285 Broad Street, Hawkinsville Ga. 31036.
