He was predeceased by: his parents, Evans Overstreet, Sr. and Cleo Jewell Yawn Overstreet; his brothers, Colon Overstreet, Jackie Overstreet, Sr. and Donnie Overstreet; and his nephew Nicolas Overstreet.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Overstreet of Hazlehurst; his daughters, Melissa Overstreet Sweat of Hazlehurst and Shree Johnson of Baxley; his grandchildren, Scarlett Elizabeth Sweat of Hazlehurst and Grayson Loran Brigman of Hazlehurst; and his siblings, Betty Jo Smith of South Carolina, Evans Jr. Overstreet (Janell) of Alma, Terry Overstreet (Sharon) of Alma, Billy Overstreet (Judy) of Cordele, Dale Overstreet of Baxley, Tommy Overstreet of Baxley and Larry Overstreet (Patricia) of Surrency.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Swain Funeral Home - Baxley (1632 Hatch Pkwy N, Baxley, GA 31513). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Oakview Baptist Church Cemetery (2127 Altamaha Rd, Hazlehurst, GA 31539).
