She was predeceased by: her parents, George Thompson and Allene Herrin; her husband Roy Varnadoe; her daughter Angie Sellers; her grandson Dustin Thompson; and her siblings, Randy Thompson, Faye Toler and Cynthia NeeSmith.
She is survived by: her children, Donnie Smith of Hazlehurst and Denise Thompson (Chuck) of Hazlehurst; her siblings, Johnny Thompson (Debbie) of Wray, GA, Ann Reynolds (Stanley) of Hazlehurst, Lauralene Williamson of Oglethorpe, GA and Sara Thompson of Hazlehurst; her granddaughters, Meygan Phillips (Kody) of Hazlehurst and Ashlie Sellers (Austin) of Hazlehurst; her great grandchildren, Laklynn Thompson, Kason Thompson, Emorie Corbitt, Weston Hattaway, Raylan Phillips, Willow Sellers, Madelyn Phillips and Georgia McQueen; and her close friend Deanie Ellis. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home (3 E Odum St, Hazlehurst, GA 31539). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
