She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Ephram Herrington and Adra Anna Bryant Herrington; her stepson Ricky Hughes; and her sisters, Inez Spell and Bertha Hinson.
She is survived by: her husband Earl A. Hughes of Hazlehurst; her children, Priscilla Waters (Kevin) of Hazlehurst and Vince Williams (Sonja) of Hazlehurst; and her grandchildren, Christopher Powell, Ansley Hall and Will Waters. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Satilla Free Will Baptist Church (750 Satilla Church Rd, Hazlehurst, GA 31539). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
