He was predeceased by: his parents, John Darwin Kirkland and Beverly Bond Kirkland; and his siblings, Bobby Kirkland and Deborah Davis. He is survived by: his daughters, Holly Taylor (Trent) of Douglas and Laura Miles (Anthony) of Brunswick; his brother Gary Kirkland (Angie) of McRae; and his grandchildren, Eli Taylor, Ella Taylor, Elena Miles, Eli Miles and Maelee Miles. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
