He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Dallas Wilson and Clara Mae Thompson Wilson; his siblings, Margaret Wilson Norman and H. D. Wilson, Jr.; and his brothers-in-law, John L. Underwood and Shearwin Underwood.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Underwood Wilson of Hazlehurst; his children, Susan Perry (Carroll) of Hazlehurst and Kent Wilson (Cynthia) of Rabun Gap, GA; his granddaughter Caroline Hendley (Lance) of Nashville, GA; his great grandchildren, Reese Elizabeth Hendley and Beau Parker Hendley; and his caregivers, Nancy Jackson, Diana Habersham, Sylvia Chandler, Karen Guerrero and Darshika Clay. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (30 N Tallahassee St, Hazlehurst, GA 31539). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
