She was predeceased by : her husband Alfred Roberts, Jr. (Freddy); her father William Walter Thigpen; and her brother William Thigpen (Gary). She is survived by : her mother Laura Lawrence Thigpen; her children, Laurie Mehlhorn (Tim) of Richmond Hill and Dr. Al Roberts III (Brenda) of Savannah; her grandchildren, Freddi Gayle (Austin) of Clinton, Bobbi Mehlhorn of Savannah and Fred Roberts IV of Richmond Hill; her great grandchild Caroline Joyce Gayle; her siblings, Joan Arrington, Rosby Thigpen (Ella Mae), Ronald Thigpen (Yvonne) and Donnie Thigpen (Deborah); her grandson Robin Roberts; and her nephews, Justin Thigpen, Tyler Thigpen, Chris Roberts, Kyle Roberts, Will Thigpen and Grayson Roberts. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; as well as other relatives and dear friends.
