She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Richard Hamlin and Mildred Gibbs Hamlin. She is survived by: her children, Jesse Rentz and KatyBeth Jordan (Parks) of Hazlehurst, GA.; her sister Susan Hulett (Jamie) of Macon; and her nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Regan, Lisa, Kelly, Kimberly, Patrick, Kyle, Clay and Tyler.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lizella Baptist Church (2950 S Lizella Rd, Lizella, GA 31052). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathy's memory may be made to the American Humane Society, 1400 16th Street NW, Suite 360, Washington, DC 20036, an organization close to her heart.
