It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry Edward Parlor of Hazlehurst, Georgia, born in Brunswick, Georgia, who passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Hughes Parlor of Hazlehurst; his children, Cindy Parlor Phillips of Hazlehurst, Christa Parlor Miller (Greg) of Hazlehurst and Rodney James Parlor of Hazlehurst; his siblings, Winette Parlor Kirkland (Michael) of Hazlehurst and Kenneth Earl Parlor (Linda) of Hazlehurst; his grandchildren, Kelly Perkins (Cory) of Bonaire, Ben Williams (Marcie) of Bonaire, Dr. Annilyne Phillips of Tifton, Briley Miller (Beth) of Hazlehurst, Chance Miller (Haylee) of Hazlehurst and Dr. Michael Lee Phillips, Jr. (Rena) of Savannah; and his great grandchildren, Ryder Jase Rich, Aspen Bristol Williams, Temperance Benleigh Williams, Madilyn Grace Miller, Rush Williams Perkins, Cullen Randal Miller and Brooks Reid Miller.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Southside Baptist Church (91 S Cromartie St, Hazlehurst, GA 31539). The lying in state will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
