It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mancy Carter Williamson of Hazlehurst, Georgia, who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Carter and Dessie Branch Carter; her husbands, Barney Griffin and Aaron "Pete" Williamson; and her siblings, Inez McDaniel, Thelma McDaniel and Carter.

She is survived by : her children, Ruth Vaughn (Billy) of Baxley, Cohen Griffin (Rennae) of Baxley, Bill Griffin (Ann) of Hazlehurst and Lamar Griffin of Hazlehurst; and her sisters, Pearl Cain of Florida and Marie Varnadore (Curtis) of Florida. She is also survived by Seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
