She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Carter and Dessie Branch Carter; her husbands, Barney Griffin and Aaron "Pete" Williamson; and her siblings, Inez McDaniel, Thelma McDaniel and Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Vaughn (Billy) of Baxley, Cohen Griffin (Rennae) of Baxley, Bill Griffin (Ann) of Hazlehurst and Lamar Griffin of Hazlehurst; and her sisters, Pearl Cain of Florida and Marie Varnadore (Curtis) of Florida. She is also survived by Seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
