Peggy Ann Carter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peggy Ann Carter of Hazlehurst, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 8, 2025 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peggy Ann Carter to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Elzie Lytle and Otera Powell Lytle. She is survived by: her children, Dawn McCullar (Shane) of Lumber City, Nashae Hand (Matt) of Hazlehurst and Lucas Carter of Hazlehurst; her siblings, Sue Newman (Gary) of Hazlehurst and Randall Lytle (Tamra); her grandchildren, Cade McCullar, Cayla Cabaniss (Chase), Shelby McCullar, Sydney Hand, Conner Hand, Seth Carter, Riley Carter and Cailee Carter; and her great grandchildren, Carter Cabaniss, Rhett Cabaniss and Hamp Cabaniss.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Eureka Baptist Church (234 Yankee Paradise Rd, Hazlehurst, GA 31539). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
