He is survived by : his mother Lorine Hall Davis; his wife Connie Clark Davis; his children, Dixie Best and Matthew Best; his brother Kendall Davis (Amelia); his grandchildren, Dylan Best, Jamie Roberson, Loramie Hughes, Dalton Best, Layla Sheffield and Brody Best; and his great grandchild Bentley Best.
