With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Lamar Wood of Hazlehurst, Georgia, who passed away on February 12, 2023 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Ronald Wood; his grandparents, Albert, Olif Partin (Bazemore), Tom and Willie Pearl Wood (Urssery); and his stepbrother Johnny Thompkins.

He is survived by : his brother Trucking; his wife Tamatha Newell Wood of Hazlehurst; his sons, Ronnie Lamar Wood of Hazlehurst, Jamie Durrant of Hazlehurst and Lee Chavis of Hazlehurst; his mother Grace Partin Wood of Denton; his sister Elaine Douglas (Jimmy) of Denton; and his stepbrother Ricky Thompkins of Warner Robins. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
