She is survived by: her son Steve Simmons (Machelle) of Hazlehurst; her stepdaughter Gina Daniels; her grandchildren, Kayla Simmons, Hart Simmons, Megan Johnson, Ryan Hooper, Jessica Hooper and King Gillis; and her brothers, Sonny Abbott and Jerry Lancaster.
