With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Wanda R. Hurley of Hazlehurst, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Wanda left this world on October 2, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Emogene Kight and George E. Ramsey; her siblings, Kaye Mann, Stephanie Krause, Donnie Kight, Jonny Kight and Jimmy Kight (Kenny Hurley); her son Ken Hurley; her grandson Kyle Ussery; and her brother-in-law Harry Hurley.
She is survived by: her significant other H. K. "Kenny" Hurley; her children, Sharon Ussery (Dane) of Hazlehurst and Wayne Hurley (Alena) of Hazlehurst; her half-sister Arlene Kight Baucom of Warner Robins; her grandchildren, Todd Ussery (Valarie), Brandi Spell (Eric), Kacey Hurley (Brittany), Kayla Hall (Rick) and Kellie Hollingsworth (Josh); her great grandchildren, Chase Ussery, Kyleigh Grace Ussery, Zack Ussery, Lindsey Coleman, Ross Hall, Jayden Hall, Kaden Spell, Kyler Spell, Kenley Hurley, Silas Hurley, Noah McNeal, Josie Hollingsworth, Addilyn Hollingsworth and Emma Hollingsworth; her great great grandchild Mayley Miller; and her siblings-in-law, Emily Beecher, Sue Williams, Jerry Hurley and Jimmy Hurley.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Union Springs Baptist Church (83 Adams Rd, Hazlehurst, GA 31539). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
