In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy William A. leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though William A. may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his wife Claire Elaine Freeman McLendon; his daughter Penny McLendon Tillman; and his parents, Roscoe Floyd and Essie Mae Floyd. He is survived by: his son Mark A. McLendon (Kim) of Hazlehurst; his son-in-law Troy Tillman; his grandchildren, Ashley McLendon, Chace McLendon and Tyler Tillman; and his great grandchild Baylor McLendon.
A graveside service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Graham Methodist Church Cemetery (430 Graham Methodist Ch Rd, Baxley, GA 31513).
