She was predeceased by : her husband William Luther Dean; her parents, Bryant Oscar and Gertrude Scarborough Davis; her daughter Debbie Powell Thompson; and her siblings, Randall Davis, Charles W. Davis and Glenda Davis Jones.

She is survived by : her children, Archie Powell (Susan) of Middleburg, FL, Tim Dean (Denise) of LaGrange and Teresa Spires (Preston) of Milan, GA; her siblings, Lavada Welch of McLenny, FL, Nina Faye Davis Prussack of Jacksonville and Ronnie Davis of Jacksonville, FL; and her sister-in-law Louann Davis of Lake City, FL. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
