We bid farewell to Louis Bloom of Helen, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 15, 2025 at the age of 89. Louis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Bloom and Joe Bloom; and his significant other Diane Shulman. He is survived by: his brother Harry Bloom; his significant other Shari Rabin; his children, Karen Porat (Amnon), Ronette Throne (Adam), Gina Bloom (Flagg Miller) and Joel Bloom (Liz King); his grandchildren, Oron Porat (Esthey), Lielle Porat, Hannah Throne, Jonah Throne, Max Bloom and Jack Bloom; his great grandchild Leora Porat; his sister Helen Stanley; the mother of his children Bernice Schmitz; his former wife Carol Silverman; and his nephew Israel. He is also survived by many loving extended family, including cousins.
