He was predeceased by: his parent Zula L. Bryson; his grandson Mason Tucker Smith; and his sons-in-law, Lee Smith and Glenn Sammons, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Marie Todd Lillard; his daughters, Katie Lillard Smith of McRae, GA and Amber Lillard Sammons (Craig) of Hephzibah, GA; his grandchildren, Robert Lillard (Kristy) of North Augusta, SC, Jaime Mullis (Josh) of Augusta, GA and Molli Lillard of Hephzibah, GA; his great grandchildren, Robert Lillard Jr. of North Augusta, SC, Jensen, Brayton Mullis of Augusta, GA, Curtis, Derek Orzechowski of North Augusta, SC and Emma Mullis of Augusta, GA; his siblings-in-law, Nancy Fuller (Johnny) and Ricky Todd (Denea); his pet Toby; and his close friends, Ray, Billie Disher, Wayne, Kathy Collins and James Paul. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors (2502 Richmond Hill Rd, Augusta, GA 30906). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
