He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Bowen and Ruth Bowen; his sister Louise Forrer; his son Rick Bowen; and his grandson Edward Bowen.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Bowen; his children, Terre Strozier (Daniel) and Bill Bowen (Cathy); his daughter-in-law Lisa Bowen; his grandchildren, Steve Strozier (Dannah), Stacy Spivey (Holt), Christy McCoy (Brad), Melissa Davenport (Madison), Raven Elliott and Tristen Elliott; his niece Charity Baughman; and his nephew Seth Baughman. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
