With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Lee Anthony Sr. (Hephzibah, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Edward shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Edward farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Anthony and Mamie Brinson; and his siblings, Lloyd Brown, Cecil Brown and Frances Anthony.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Turner, Edward Anthony Jr., Dr. Darren Anthony Sr. (Cecily), Ryan Anthony and Tylisha Sampson; his sisters, Carrie Sheila Aaron (Hayward) and Katherine Villeza (Belvin); and his friend Cynthia Anthony. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
