She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin J. Barr and Annie B. Cooper Barr; her siblings, Mancie, Leroy, Bessie, Priscilla, Benjamin Jr., Lemar, James, Luther, Daisy Bell, Thomas, Rutha Mae, Lawrence, Alberta (Phillip), Frances, Rosa (Arthur), Doretha (Fred), Albert Mae and Dorothy; and her siblings-in-law, John E. Harris, Johnny Mack Brown, Eugene Robinson and Aurelia Fields (Doris B. Jones).
She is survived by: her husband Arthur L. Brown; her daughters, Kathy Jones and Tiffany Brown-Johnson (Chris Sr.); her grandchildren, Christopher M. Johnson II, Ka'Trina, Kishon and Kali; her sister Hazel L. Harris; her godchildren, John T. Harris, Jevon Harris and Darril Marshall; her siblings-in-law, Deloris Jenkins, Diane Thomas, Othia Jean Williams, Maurice Jenkins, George Thomas, Larry Brown and Roosevelt Fulmore; her adoptive daughters, Dominique Jones and LaChell Pace; her close friends, Earnestine, Sonia, Diane, Nola, Clara, Mary R., Mary D. Joyce, Doris, Vicki, Sandra, Patricia M. and Sheryl; and her cousins, Phillip, Lois, Elvis, Christine, Daryl, Zalestra, Maria, Shakanda, Josh, Leslie, Michelle, Wanda, Leona, Alfred, Deloris, Ella Mae, Fredrica and Barbara Faye.
