He was predeceased by : his parents, William Franklin Luke and Alma Louise Hughes. He is survived by : his wife Bobbie Gail Gould Luke; his children, Arthur Franklin "Jim" Luke of Hephzibah and Sabrina Laverne Gay of Hephzibah; his sister Diane Bedgood of Belvedere; his grandchildren, Amy Elizabeth Contreras, Austin Luke, Bobby Lavern Joseph Gay and Gerald Willis Gay, III; and his great grandchildren, Aiden Ivan Contreras, Vanessa Anahi Contreras, Jahziel Emiliano Contreras and Dennis Joseph Eugene Gay.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
