With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Ralph Johnson (Hephzibah, Georgia), who passed away on July 15, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Weatherford Johnson and Jessie Eugene Johnson, Sr.; his wife Mary Ann Owens Johnson; and his siblings, Jessie Eugene Johnson, Jr. and Helen Johnson Bailey.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Johnson (Karla) of Waynesboro, Julie Gandy (Donald) of Waynesboro and Nancy Cox (Joe) of Louisville; his grandchildren, Jenny Tootle (Brannon), Jay Johnson (Cheyanne), Colby Gandy (Hollis Ann), Connor Gandy, JC Cox, Owen Cox and Noah Cox; his great grandchild Rowan Tootle; and his siblings, Nell Johnson Mobley, Lucile Johnson Cheeks, Virginia Johnson Mead (Shorty) and Richard Weatherford Johnson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
