He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby K. Salter, Sr. and Shirley Salter; his daughter Tiffany Salter; and his grandson Michael John Salter, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Michael John Salter (Sarah), Bonnie Reynolds (Guy), Will Junkins (Tiffany), Kimber Copeland (John), Alyse Holland (Aaron) and Chris Kerlin (Angela); the mother of his children Karon Salter Tucker; and his siblings, Bobby K. Salter, Jr. (Heloise), Susan Salter and Sandra Tucker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chance & Hydrick Funeral Home (2502 Richmond Hill Rd, Augusta, GA 30906).
