She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyal Lee Peoples and Lillie Mae Paul Peoples. She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Leonard Beard, Lester Paul Leonard and Patrick L. Leonard (Twan); and her siblings, Laritta Peoples Whittle and Gregory A. Peoples. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews.
