Morrell leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Morrell’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Morrell will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her brother Kenneth Maurice Flournoy. She is survived by: her son Kenneth Montel Abney; her mother Mozella Flournoy; her brother Vernon Abney; her aunts, Willie "Jeanette" Miller, Eva Martin, Annie E. Harris and Mary Wilson; and her sister Fontel Norman. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (2945 Old Tobacco Rd, Hephzibah, GA 30815). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Fairview Missionary Baptist Church (3105 Milledgeville Rd, Augusta, GA 30904).
