He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Chanin and Marie Chanin; and his son Richard Paul Chanin. He is survived by: his wife Audrey Louise Chanin; his children, Michael Paul Chanin and Amber Norris (Daryl); and his grandchildren, Michael Chanin Jr., Ariana Chanin, Devin Norris, Noah Norris and Daryl Norris III. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
