She is survived by: her children, James Goodwin, Emma Burroughs, Betty Mobley, Susie Melson (Authur) and Jacqueline Gossip; and her siblings, Pamela Griffin Miles, Jerry Griffin (Doris), Sam Griffin, Arthur Griffin and Horace Griffin. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (2945 Old Tobacco Rd, Hephzibah, GA 30815). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Calvary Baptist Church (1260 Wrightsboro Rd, Augusta, GA 30901).
