He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Sanders and Rosa B. Sanders; his siblings, Katherine Ashe, Willie B Beard, Jessie Sanders, Rosie Townes, William Sanders and Cleveland Sanders; and his wife Beulah Mae Sanders.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory Sanders (Louisiana), Marcia McConnell (Charlie), Wesley Sanders Jr. (Mylene) and Rhonda Mikell (Darril); his sisters, Juanita Browder and Dorothy Whitlow; Sylvia Glover. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 14 great- great grandchildren.
