William Craig Wright Obituary

William Craig Wright, born on May 16, 1956, passed away on October 9, 2026. William leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilber Wright and Eloise Wright. He is survived by: his wife Jean Wright of Hephzibah, Georgia; his children, Brandon Wright (Kaylea) of Statesboro, Jereme Wright (Leah) of Vestavia Hills, Alabama and Kristen Oglesby (Michael) of Hephzibah, Georgia; his brothers, Gary Wright (Sue) of Bethlehem and Tony Wright (Mary) of Springdale, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Sam, Connor, Emma, Dempsey, Holden, Ivey, Mark, Ella and William.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society (https://www.cancer.org) in order to further the research of pancreatic cancer.
