He is survived by: his sisters, Betty Grooms Woolums, Barbara Grooms, Dottie Kelley and Nancy Huffman; his daughter Verranne Grooms; his son-in-law David Dockery; his daughter Dawn Bailey; his son-in-law Jeff Bailey; his grandchild Dakota Grooms; his daughter Lori Giddens (Wallace Giddens); his grandchildren, Ethan McLain, Dalton McLain, Indianna Grooms, Cameron Grooms, Kadence Bailey, Eleanor Bailey, Staton Grooms and Quincey Grooms; his great grandchildren, Jameson McLain and Zara McLain; and his nephews, Barry Huffman, Brian Kelley, Danny Moody, Delane Moody, Neal Moss and Eddie Carroll.
