It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Francis Young of Hiawassee, Georgia, who passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Erma Young and Frank Young; his wife Susan Walther; his children, LeeAnne (Paul Kam), Stephen Kam (Hannah Rosenberger), Peter (Violet Rosenberger) and Rick (Pam Chemelli); his grandsons, Hunter Chemelli and Austin Chemelli; and his children, Suzanne, Doug Mulholland, Chrisje Potter, Kate Mulholland, Lisa and Rob Wolf.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either the American Legion or All Saints Lutheran Church in Blairsville, Georgia.
