He was predeceased by : his father Cecil Shook; and his brother Stephen Shook. He is survived by : his mother Carolyn Shook; his wife Marsha Shook; his children, Brittany Bradshaw (Derrick) and Brandon Shook (Brittany Wells); his grandchildren, Skyla Shook, Madelyn Shook and Ryleand Shook; and his brothers, Mark Shook (Kim), Greg Shook (Donna) and Darrell Shook (Shirley). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
