Donald Meyer Obituary

We announce the death of Donald Meyer of Hiawassee, Georgia, who passed away on June 20, 2026, at the age of 96. Donald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Meyer and Anna Meyer; his former wife Jean Meyer; and his grandchildren, Teal, Amber and Olivia.

He is survived by: his wife Pat Lehman; his children, Donald Meyer (Rita), Douglas Meyer (Kim) and Sandra Smith (Ed); his stepdaughter Julia Le Breaux (Michael); and his pet Milo. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; his sister, Grace West and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse or Hope Hospice.
