He was predeceased by : his parents, Marlor Garrett and Claudine Ramey Garrett. He is survived by : his wife Emily Garrett; his sister Jean Westmoreland of Cleveland, Tennessee; his daughters, Shari Garrett-Miller (Eric) of Cropwell, AL and Regina Mohseni (Mehrdod) of Denver, Colorado; his grandchildren, Colin Miller of Birmingham, Kaivon Mohseni (Haley) of Marietta, Georgia and Natasha Mohseni of Denver; his nieces, Robyn Westmoreland and Rhonda Britt of Cleveland; his great-nephew Joshua Cabrera (Nikki); and also Haley (Cabrera).
