He was predeceased by: his son Karsten Erik Dalaker II; his sister Else Marie Dalaker; his former wife Helen Dalaker; and his parents, Kirsten Dalaker and Carsten Dalaker.
He is survived by: his significant other Evelyn McGlone; his daughter Kristine Dalaker (Roger Nygaard); his granddaughter Erika Hanson Kraabel; and his brother Knut Cato Dalaker (Kari Ellingsen). He is also survived by father and grandfather figure to her children and grandchildren.
