He is survived by: his sister Katherine Fowler of Brinklow, MD.; his son Troy Wheeler; his daughter-in-law Katie of Edmond, OK; his daughter Ashley Dawson; his son-in-law Nathan of Summerville, SC.; and his grandchildren, Preston, Bella, Merritt, Kendall and Parker.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fort Sill National Cemetery (2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd, Elgin, OK 73538).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are encouraged to The Lodge at Brookline in Oklahoma City, which provided him with exceptional care in his final years.
