He is survived by: his wife Pearlie Mae Gardner Dawson; his children, Joseph Dawson II (Bonny) of Dalzell, SC, Cynthia Miller of Baltimore, MD, Dicarra Jahdell Alexander of Houston, Terrance Day of Alabama, Willis Jennings III (Kimberly) of Greenville, MS and Vivian D. Turner of Atlanta, GA.; and his nieces and nephews, Douglas Dawson, Samuel Jones Jr., Leverette Williams II, O. Jones, Michelle D. Ledbetter and Yolanda D. Williams. He is also survived by loving cousins, classmates, friends.
