It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melinda Baggs of Hinesville, Georgia, who passed away on February 16, 2026, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Baggs and Otha Lee Baggs; her daughter Tonia Marie Baggs; and her siblings, Lucille Baggs and Larry Baggs.

She is survived by: her son Michael Baggs (Chris) of Hinesville, GA; her sisters, Melissa Baggs of Ludowici, GA and Florestine Mark of Jamaica, NY; her siblings-in-law, Patrick Mark of Jamaica, NY and Zettie Baggs of Ludowici, GA.; and her nieces and nephews, Charles Morreale (Andy), Lazarus Baggs, Daniel Mark, Lucresha Baggs, Lorette Baggs and Sharise McNair.
