He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Kato of Atlanta, GA, Tiffany Kato of Hinesville, GA and Kendra Kato of Hinesville, GA.; and his sisters, Stephanie Regidor (Stanford) of Hilo, HI, Deborah Saranillio (Guy) of Mililani, HI and Jessica Teixeira (Buddy) of Waipahu, HI..
Visitation was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carter Funeral Home (308 W Oglethorpe Hwy, Hinesville, GA 31313). A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
