It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Brent Smith of Hinesville, Georgia, born in Tarboro, North Carolina, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his mother Jennifer Taylor Rivenbark; his uncle David Wood; and his grandmother Margaret Davis. He is survived by : his daughter Becca Carter of Indiana; his father Ocie Glenn Smith; his sister Melissa Tosto; his stepfather Wayne Tosto; his granddaughter Kayleigh Nelson; his cousins, Jamie Wood (Jenny Cheng) and Seth Wood (Nicole); and also "Aunt Deb" (Ricky Bryant). He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
