We announce the death of Bobby Joe Jones (Hiram, Georgia), who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 87. Bobby will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Jones and Alice Jones; his wife Joanne Jones; and his siblings, Roy, Ted Jones, Dorothy O'Neal and Kathy Roberts.
He is survived by: his sons, Scott Jones (Jeanne) and Jonathan Jones (Melissa); his grandchildren, Connor, Maddie, Jett, Finley, Presley Jones, Nicholas and Jacob McCurley; and his siblings, Gladys Ackerman, Kay Moore, Betty Carmen, Albert Jones and Bill Jones.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clark Funeral Home (4373 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sam Clark Chapel (4373 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141). A burial was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cheatham Hill Memorial Park (1861 Dallas Hwy, Marietta, GA 30064).
