He was predeceased by : his father George "Buster" O'Neal; and his siblings, Cheryl Lowe and David O'Neal. He is survived by : his wife Janis Martin O'Neal; his children, Christine Marie King (Cody), Katie O'Neal Clark and Shennandoah Amann; his brother George O'Neal; and his grandson Slade Boone King. He is also survived by other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Clark Funeral Home & Chapel (4373 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 4th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
